Romain DuvalRomain Duval is an Assistant Director in the IMF’s Research Department, where he leads the agenda on structural reforms. Previously, he worked in the IMF’s Asia and Pacific Department and, prior to joining the IMF, at the OECD. He has published extensively in leading academic and policy-oriented journals on a wide range of topics including the economics and political economy of labor and product market regulations, economic growth, productivity, trade, monetary policy, exchange rates, and climate change economics. He holds a PhD from University Paris-I Pantheon Sorbonne.
