Rohit Goel is a Research Officer in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He contributes to sections of the Global Financial Stability Report (Chapter 1) and is a member of the Fund’s market surveillance team. His work has recently focused on US corporate stability and global bank analysis assessing sustainable profitability, business model challenges along with the cyclical and structural impediments to stability. Prior to joining the IMF, Rohit worked as an Assistant Vice President and a writing analyst at Barclays Asia Equities for four years. Rohit holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
