Natalija NovtaNatalija Novta is an Economist in the Regional Studies Division of the IMF’s Western Hemisphere Department, where she conducts analysis on Latin America and the Caribbean. She previously worked in the Fiscal Affairs Department. Before joining the Fund, she worked at the Fiscal Council of Serbia, the Serbian Ministry of Finance, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. Her PhD in Economics is from New York University and her past research has focused on trade flows, public sector employment, and conflict.
