Julian T.S. Chow is a Financial Sector Expert in the Global Markets Analysis Division of the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He contributes to the Global Financial Stability Report on issues relating to emerging market banking and corporate sectors. Julian started his career at Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia) where he served as Acting Manager for Foreign Exchange in Investment & Treasury Department. He has also worked in the private sector as Senior Fund Manager/Head of Asian Fixed Income & Derivatives, at AmInvestment Management. He is a qualified CFA charterholder, and holds Master’s and B.Sc. degrees in finance from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia) and the London School of Economics (U.K.) respectively.
