Frederic Lambert is currently an economist in the IMF’s Western Hemisphere Department, covering Mexico. Previously, he worked on the desk for Uruguay and on the Global Financial Stability Report in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. Frederic joined the IMF in 2012 from the Banque de France, where he was head of the International Monetary Relations Division. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University, Stern School of Business.
