Emine Hanedar is an Economist at the Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) in the IMF. Her work to date covers a wide range of macro-fiscal issues in the area of fiscal adjustment, public debt (sustainability), fiscal forecasting, ageing, European fiscal issues, public spending, tax policy, inequality, and energy subsidy reform. In FAD, she has also worked as a fiscal economist on several countries and led and participated in capacity development missions in energy subsidy reform. Prior to the IMF, Emine worked for the Ministry of Finance in the Netherlands for seven years.
